Our Mission
Making Disciples & Building Community

Making Disciples.

One of the last things Jesus said to his disciples, as recorded in Matthew 28:18–20 is, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

It’s the simplicity of these words that drives Cornerstone, as we seek to make disciples of all nations, starting with our families, neighbors, coworkers, and friends.

Building Community.

When God made Adam, He said it was “Not good for Man to be alone”. We were created for community. At Cornerstone we strive to be a growing community that looks more and more like Christ. Our foundational reason for being intentional about building community is for our church to reflect the image of God and proclaim the good news of what Jesus has accomplished on the cross.
